My priorities are clear:
Building on the achievements of my past six years on the Board of the TPA I am
best positioned to execute the TPA motto “we protect those who protect others.”
Unprecedented tough economic times are making it more difficult to protect, defend and advance
our members’ interests
In the next round of contract negotiations, it will be more challenging than ever
to protect the hard won gains and benefits from the previous two contracts
Next year is a municipal election and we must ensure that officials
respect and value the contributions of all TPA members
It’s critically important to maintain and strengthen the strong public
confidence that we built over the last 6 years
Our members require a President who:
A team that:
The TPA is the organization through which our members are perceived by the public and government
officials. Maintaining and growing strong public /government support and understanding is critical
to the strength of the TPA and its ability to achieve positive resolutions to the critical
matters that affect our members.
Through your direct action of electing credible and reputable TPA representatives,
you ensure your voice will be heard on these important matters.
By electing the right people to represent our members, you ensure your
TPA reps will be invited to sit at the negotiating table.
Your choice is clear – as your President, I would have the qualifications,
the experience and the commitment to lead a winning team that
is best positioned to protect your interests.
